Mobile measurement partner
Drop the attribution SDK
Superwall is your mobile measurement partner. The SDK that presents your paywalls also attributes installs to the ad that drove them, sends trials and subscriptions back to the network, and puts ad spend on the same charts as your proceeds.
Meta Ads is live for iOS apps on SuperwallKit 4.16.0 or later. TikTok and Google Ads are coming soon. Read the MMP docs or go straight to the Meta Ads setup guide.
How it works
From ad tap to paying subscriber
Four steps, and only the first one is work for you.
Step 01
Connect an ad network
Under Integrations, open Performance Marketing and connect Meta. Superwall generates the link you put in each ad.
Step 02
The tap goes to the store
The link records the click and sends the user straight to the App Store. No interstitial, no extra redirect to maintain.
Step 03
The SDK matches the install
On first open, the SDK you already ship matches the install to the campaign, ad set, and ad that drove it.
Step 04
Conversions post back
Trial starts and subscriptions go back to the network with revenue and country, so delivery optimizes on payers.
Why it works
The SDK already sees the whole funnel
A standalone MMP sits outside your monetization stack. It learns about a trial when you forward an event, and about a refund only if you remember to. Superwall confirms every purchase against the store, so it already holds the revenue half of the equation. Attribution just attaches the acquisition half to it.
- No second SDK, no second dashboard, no second bill.
- Revenue is cohorted by install date, so a campaign's D30 number is what its users earned within 30 days of installing.
- Trial conversions go back to Meta with value and currency, so its delivery optimizes on paying trials, not trial starts.
- Attributed users carry acquisition_ attributes, so campaign audiences can show each ad its own paywall.
- Renewals are never sent to the network, and organic installs stay organic instead of being claimed by the last click.
Attribution applies to new installs only. The SDK matches once, shortly after first launch, and only when that launch happens within 7 days of the ad click.
Advertising charts
Spend next to proceeds
A new Advertising group in Charts. Every one of these can be filtered and broken down by network and campaign, exported as CSV, and read next to Proceeds, Trial Conversion, and Realized LTV.
Ad Spend
Daily spend from your connected ad accounts.
ROAS
Proceeds cohorted by install date, divided by spend.
CPM
Cost per 1,000 ad impressions.
Cost per trial
Ad spend per trial start.
Cost per paid user
Ad spend per new paying user.
Blended CPT
Total spend over every trial start, paid and organic.
Blended CPI
Total spend over every new user, paid and organic.
Install to Trial
The share of installs that start a trial.
Realized LTV per new user gains a Window control (3, 7, 14, 30, or 90 days) so every cohort is measured over the same number of days. Without it, older cohorts always look better because they have had longer to earn. See the chart reference.

Acquisition cohort report
Ask for the answer, not the export
The acquisition cohort report returns installs, trials, spend, CPI, and install-cohorted revenue per campaign, ad set, ad, or country. It is available through the Superwall MCP and the API, so your agent can pull it in one question.

Beyond the report
Attribution you can act on
Most MMPs stop at a dashboard. Because attribution lands in the same place your campaigns live, it changes what users see next.
A paywall per ad
Build a campaign audience on the acquisition attributes and send a trial-forward ad to a trial-forward paywall. Change it later with no app release.
Price tests per campaign
Split one ad cohort across two offers and read the result in install-cohorted proceeds, not in installs.
Cut what does not pay back
A campaign with cheap installs and no D30 revenue is visible on the same chart as the one that pays for itself.
